Does standard Odoo include complete transport management?
Odoo includes Fleet, Inventory routes, delivery orders, packages, barcode operations and dispatch capabilities. Advanced freight rating, tendering, telematics, GPS tracking, electronic proof of delivery and carrier portals may require configuration, third-party modules or integrations.
Can Odoo manage vehicles, drivers and maintenance costs?
Yes. Odoo Fleet records vehicles, driver assignments, odometers, contracts, services and repair costs. Preventive and corrective maintenance can also be scheduled for appropriate registered equipment; the exact fleet-maintenance workflow should be validated during design.
Can we track transport-job or route profitability?
Analytic accounting can track revenues and costs when invoices, expenses, purchases and journal entries are consistently allocated. A dedicated trip-costing model for fuel, tolls, driver allowances, subcontractors and shared fleet overhead may require additional configuration.
Must all logistics processes go live together?
